Before We Shoot

Terms & Conditions

Photography Services — please review the following terms that apply to all bookings with LA/OC Media.

Payment

Full payment is required prior to the start of any photography session. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. In the event payment is not collected on-site, an invoice will be issued promptly after the session, and all images and deliverables will be withheld until the balance is settled.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

A $75 fee applies to any cancellation or reschedule made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, or in cases where both the client and photographer agree upon arrival that the property is not in suitable condition to photograph. No cancellation fee will be assessed when rescheduling is necessary due to weather conditions.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring the property is clean, accessible, and ready for photography at the scheduled appointment time. This includes removing personal clutter, unlocking all rooms and gates, securing pets, and turning on interior and exterior lights as needed. The photographer does not move furniture, stage properties, or provide any interior preparation services.

Delivery Timeline

Edited images will be delivered within 1 business day of the session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Revisions & Re-Edits

Standard editing (color correction, brightness, lens correction) is included with every session. Additional retouching, virtual staging, or re-edits beyond the standard package may be subject to an additional fee, which will be communicated before work begins.

Usage Rights & Licensing

Upon receipt of full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the delivered images for marketing, listing, and promotional purposes related to the photographed property. The photographer retains copyright and ownership of all images and may use them for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Liability

The photographer is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to equipment malfunction, file corruption, acts of nature, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, liability is limited to a refund of the session fee. The photographer carries no liability for the condition of the property or any claims arising from the visual representation of the property.

Travel

A mileage fee per mile may apply for properties beyond our normal service area, and will be communicated prior to booking.

Drone & Aerial Photography

Aerial photography is subject to weather conditions, FAA regulations, and local airspace restrictions. If aerial shots cannot be safely or legally captured at the time of the session, no refund will be issued for that portion of the service, and a return visit may be scheduled at no additional charge when conditions permit.

Social Media & Credit

Delivered images are provided without watermarks. If the client shares images on social media or digital platforms, tagging or crediting the photographer is appreciated but not required unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.
